Well since my steering has been getting loose and there is no way I am buying on of those big ass draglink crappers, so since I made AaronCherokee's steering I bought double the parts back then so I already have them. So after having the parts for two years I decided to do the swap. It consists of using:

1-RH thread 3/4" Heim w/ high misalignment spacers to 5/8" hole
1-RH thread 3/4" Heim w/ 5/8" hole
1-LH thread 3/4" Heim w/ 5/8" hole
1-E3096 tierod, aka LH thread (21MM)
1-Draglink (36"ish)-1.25"OD .125"Wall sleeved with 1.0"OD .125"Wall
1-Tie Rod (52"ish)- 1.25"OD .125"Wall sleeved with 1.0"OD .125"Wall
2-3/4" RH thread tube adapter with jam nuts
1-3/4" LH thread tube adapter with jam nut
1-21MM LH thread tube adapter and jam nut

New Trackbar
1-set of 7/8" hiems with tube adapters, jam nuts. RH and LH
1-Trackbar (32"ish)-1.25"OD .125"Wall sleeved with 1.0"OD .125"Wall

So with all that out of the way. The draglink will meet the tie rod at the knuckle and at the pitman arm thats where the larger TRE will go instead of drilling out the pitman arm. So to start I had to dril out the knuckles to 5/8" and then mock up the strearing to see what needs to go. Basically, no sway bar links, old BT mount out and took out the steering stabilizer mount. So had to make a new TB mount and make sure the draglink and TB angles are close to each other. Also, made a new mount for the frame since my Rusty's is worht too much to cut it up. So I will have a Rusty's TB and mount for sale soon.

While I was under there I replaced my steering box since mine has leaked for 2 years now and I got it off Fiscus 2 years ago as well. So the steering is super tight now and no more dead spot and shake at 45-55mph.

So next on the list to mount those 37's and get down the road with them puppies. Aka hope that the D30 holds up haaaa.

I will have some pics here soon. For awhile I ran the old TB and new steering and made a special mount for a steering stabilizer.

Also, in September or August I am helping host my buddies Bachelor party at Haspin for a weekend and I might need some help lending/tailing the group.

So a tally for it would be right at $175 for it and I already had the DOM so free.

Well I have some pics of when I had the Rusty's trackbar and the steering stabilizer.

I couldn't find our extra camera since the wife carries hers.

Well I finished the mount on the axle and it is crazy how high i needed to mount it since i used a straight trackbar. I used all 1/4" steel plate to mount the axle end. I redrilled my rusty's trackbar frame mount. I used 5/8" bolts to mount it.

So when I get time I will flex it out and make sure nothing hits.

Well after some drive time I have really noticed the difference in the lengths of my trackbar and drag link. The drag link is ~36" and the trackbar is ~32" and this is causing some bad bump steer. So I am going to cut downt he draglink and mount it in double shear on the tie rod. This should mean I can keep my angles the same so I don't have to move the track bar.

So it will look something like this:

Well i cut my draglink down to the 31" like the trackbar and everything is great. I do have to pay attention to how I torque the jam nut on the tie rod since if I do it wrong the new mount could get stuck on the new track bar mount.

I will post a pic tonight hopefully.

Well driving down the highway yesterday and I had noticed that the steering had been getting loose. Well at 55 boom mount tore off and had to limp home. I wasn't even thinking when I made the mount that I didn't support in the direction the steering box is pushing on the mount. Wasn't thinking and not the steering is super tight. I tore the stock sheeting metal where the weld was, in the HAZ zone.
